Alex Fink

Alex Fink is a Tech Executive, Silicon Valley Expat, and the Founder and CEO of the Otherweb, a Public Benefit Corporation that (among other things) generates a “nutrition label” for media content so people can be more informed about the content they consume online.The Otherweb is also available as an app, a website, a newsletter, or a standalone browser extension.

After a long career in Silicon Valley as a tech executive in a variety of startups, Alex decided that instead of contributing to the “Social Dilemma” (a problem created by Silicon Valley with the advent of social media in which clickbait is incentivized), he would rather build the solution using their own methods. He moved to Austin, rolled up his sleeves, and a few years later the Otherweb was born.
