Ashley Thomas III is a nationally recognized Housing Policy and Wealth Equity Strategist and the National President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), the nation’s oldest minority real estate trade association. With more than 25 years of experience across real estate, lending, and community development, he is a leading voice in expanding sustainable Black homeownership and closing the racial wealth gap.
As CEO and Founder of LA Top Broker, a multi-state mortgage brokerage, and Managing Broker of First Security Investment Co., Inc., one of the country’s oldest Black-owned property management firms, Ashley combines industry expertise with policy advocacy. His work focuses on advancing access to capital, strengthening communities, and positioning homeownership as a pathway to economic stability, generational wealth, and long-term equity.
