In this episode of the podcast, I pose the question "Why do you Vote?" This question holds significant importance considering the role and value of voting in America. However, in today's society, an increasing number of people opt not to vote, and to be honest, that's not their fault but rather a reflection of societal issues. We need to improve our efforts in educating the youth, not only in understanding voting but also in appreciating its value.
I also believe it's time to consider upgrading our current voting system. The current method often fails to truly represent the wants and needs of the people. We can explore alternatives, such as Star Voting, to ensure that we aren't constrained by a system that forces us to choose between the lesser of two evils, be it a Republican or a Democrat.
Additionally, we must emphasize the crucial importance of local elections. In all honesty, they should be considered the most important. Strengthening the emphasis on local elections ensures that they hold a significant place in our democratic process.
