Blue Wave 2026: Did Democrats Win a Mandate, or Did MAGA Just Lose?
The blue wave is here. Democrats hold at least 54 Senate seats (Alaska and Mississippi still counting), a House majority in the 250s, and new governors in Texas, Georgia, Nevada, Iowa and Ohio. But voters turned on MAGA, not on conservatism, and the ballot measures prove it.

I break down the results, then the ballot initiatives most coverage skipped: abortion rights, trans sports limits, voter ID, Washington's millionaire tax, and why California's Prop 40 billionaire tax failed. Then the Democratic infighting: DSA vs centrists, who won the swing seats, what the Speaker and Senate leader actually do, and whether Schumer and Jeffries should go. Plus breaking news: Stephen Miller replaces Susie Wiles as chief of staff, and my plan for the next two years: accountability, investigations, and forcing Trump's vetoes on the record.

Corrections: Washington's millionaire tax is 9.9%, not 10%. Annie Andrews won South Carolina's Senate seat.
