Trump's Beef Deal Expires After the Election, His Iran Threat Fizzled, and Canada Hits Back
Everybody in power announced something this week. Almost nobody showed the paperwork.

Trump promised an economic D-Day against Iran, then his Treasury Secretary stood at a podium and declined to pull the trigger, saying out loud that he did not want to blow up the global financial system. Trump announced a beef deal to bring your grocery bill down, but there is no executive order, no named suppliers, and the window closes days after you vote. The Supreme Court handed him a win on mail ballots without ever ruling on whether the order is legal. Mark Zuckerberg published a manifesto about how communities benefit from data centers, and two days later, in the exact parish he named, regulators voted to keep his numbers sealed.

Tonight we go looking for the paperwork.

Full Follow the Money segment on the ballroom and the nuclear bunker already sitting under the White House, the Wall Street Journal reporting on Live Nation and the Kennedy Center, the Trump Organization filing trademarks on flight suits and shuttle buses, and the Taylor Farms donation timeline. Then Research on a Dime on what the finished primary season actually proved, including Darline Graham winning South Carolina by four points after a full Trump recruitment effort. Breakdown in the Public asks who is even allowed to know what your town agreed to.
